Handmade with Elaine
Class Policies & Waivers

Class Terms & Conditions

All sales are final. Arriving late may impact the quality of the instruction and may result in you having to complete the craft at home.

Pre-purchasing a ticket electronically guarantees your spot in the class. Walk-ins are accepted when possible, but are strictly limited to space and available supplies. Handmade with Elaine may only bring enough supplies to cover registered class attendees, so low registration numbers does not automatically mean availability for walk-ins. The cost at the door is typically slightly higher than the online price and must be paid by cash or Venmo.

Classes may utilize items that could cause injury such as, but not limited to knives, & hot glue. By purchasing a ticket to a Handmade with Elaine class I am aware of the potential dangers of attending this event and promise not to hold the company or employee liable or pursue legal action against them. I will follow the directions of the company staff, and the location staff, for all safety requirements, and I will seek clarification if necessary.

By purchasing a ticket, I agree to hold the company completely harmless, including financial responsibility for any injuries sustained, regardless of the cause or circumstances.

This ticket absolves the company and the event location of any duty for any injuries sustained on the premises before, during, or after the activity.

Refund Policy

Handmade with Elaine is not responsible for no shows. The ticket holder is responsible for contacting Handmade with Elaine to request cancellations

Cancellations with more than 48hrs notice may request a full ticket refund (minus fees) or for the ticket cost to be applied towards a future class.

Cancellations with less than 48hrs notice may request a 50% ticket refund (minus fees) or for the full ticket cost to be applied towards a future class.

Rolled over tickets fees cannot be refunded.

Child Attendance Policy

Unless otherwise specified Handmade with Elaine craft classes are designed for highschoolers and adults. Many crafts require good fine motor skills, or utilize items that may cause injury such as hot glue, chemicals, or sharp blades. However, as the mother of young artists and budding crafters, I do not want to automatically exclude kids under 14 from attending.

I offer an "Adult + 1 child under 14 years" ticket. This ticket will provide you with 2 sets of whichever project we are working on for that class.

Alternatively you may purchase 1 adult ticket to work on 1 project together.

The adult will be fully responsible for the supervision of the child, especially when using supplies with the potential for injury.

You are also responsible for the behavior of your child to avoid disrupting the other crafters and the host business.

Please only bring 1 child per adult to ensure adequate supervision.
